On July 5, the 500,000t Coal Tar Light Aromatics, 100,000t Methanol-to-arene & 10,000,000t Logistics Project Phase II of Kingho Group starts its construction in Alxa League Development Area, Inner Mongolia.
The total investment of 500,000t Coal Tar Light Aromatics Project of Kingho Group is RMB 4.28 billion. The content of construction includes materials fractionating unit, dehydration and tail cutting units, reaction and fractionation units, coke oven gas-to-hydrogen unit, storage and shipment system units, 2*75t/h circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler and supporting facilities including power supply, water supply and environmental facilities. Upon the completion of this project, 122,200t No. 1 light coal coke, 285,000t No. 2 light coal coke and 80,380t coal asphalt will be produced annually.
After the 100,000t Methanol-to-arene Project is put into production, 75,000t arene, 22,500t liquefied gas and 3,400t dry gas can be produced each year. The project has the advantages of rich raw material sources, mature technologies, adjustable percentage of ethylene to propylene in products, less emission of waste water, gases and residuals.
