From Qinghai Kingho Group (Correspondent: He Wei) On the afternoon of November 4, 2012, Sang Jie, deputy director of the People's Congress Standing Committee of Qinghai Province, Zhong Zhenliang, chairman of Qinghai Financial and Economic Committee, Zhang Xinwen, office director of the Committee and Shen Dazhao, head of Budget Office of the Committee, accompanied by Zhu Jianping, secretary of Haixi Standing Committee & Golmud Municipal Committee and Tian Geng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Haixi People's Congress, visited and investigated Goldmud Steel Industry Park.
The investigation team visited the control room and raw materials yards of 1,200,000t pellet plant of the Group in Golmud and learned about in details the production process, construction scale and investment of the plant. Later, they visited the comprehensive raw material yards, main procedures including iron making, sintering, steel making and milling of 2,000,000t steel and iron integration project, as well as administrative office buildings. Fu Shangjun, assistant chief commander of the Steel and Iron Project Headquarters reported to leaders in brief the overall plan, overview, production process, equipment level as well as resources configuration of 2,000,000t steel and iron integration project. The team were satisfied with the overall construction progress of the steel and iron project and expressed their intention to intensify the efforts on support of the project. They also hoped that the government and the enterprise would speed up their pace of project construction and make efforts to build a modern steel city.
